Who Can Become a Knight?
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men age 18 and older.
Our council welcomes men from all walks of life—young adults, fathers, grandfathers, lifelong parishioners, and those newer to the faith. We are especially encouraging younger men to consider joining as we continue building strong Catholic leadership for the future.
The Knights of Columbus is a brotherhood united by faith and service, bringing together men of different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences who share a common commitment to Christ and His Church.

Annual Dues
The annual dues for Council 4572 are $36.00.
These dues help support council operations and charitable initiatives throughout the year.
There are no hidden fees, and financial hardship should never prevent someone from inquiring about membership.
THE MEMBERSHIP PROCESS
How Do You Become a Knight?
Joining the Knights of Columbus is a simple, three-step process.
Step 1. Submit an Application
Paper Application (Form 100)
Forms are available from any active Knight.
You may also find a membership application in the vestibule of the church to the right of the main doors as you exit.
After completing the required fields, place the form in the Knights of Columbus mailbox near the church office door or give it to a Brother Knight.

Step 2. Brief Meeting with the Membership Committee
After submitting your application, you will be invited to meet briefly with the membership committee.
These meetings typically take place prior to a business or social meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to:
Confirm that you are a practicing Catholic man
Get to know you and your faith journey
Answer any questions you may have about council life
This is a friendly and informal conversation — not an interview.
Step 3. Exemplification Ceremony
The final step is participation in the Exemplification Ceremony, a special welcoming ceremony that formally initiates you into the Knights of Columbus.
This ceremony is usually held after a Sunday Mass in the church or sanctuary. The Financial Secretary or Grand Knight will contact you to confirm availability.
After the ceremony:
You will receive your name badge
You will be welcomed at all Knights of Columbus meetings and events
You will officially become a Brother Knight
